The Fatima Promise Revisited

Out Lady of Fatima has gained many converts for Jesus Christ by her message of peace and conversion. The Secretes of Fatima have caused many to repent and turn towards God. However, many, including myself, have forgotten what she warned against.
“I am the Lady of the Rosary,” she said on October 13, 1917. “And I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins. They must not continue to offend our Lord who has been so deeply offended. They must say the rosary.”
Glenn Beck has published an excellent documentary on communism and the horrible effects it has unleashed on our world. It is a short 7 part series. This series is an excellent reminder of what our Lady has warned us about.
I had forgotten many of the atrocities mentioned and shown in the series. This short series renewed my dedication to our Blessed Mother’s call for conversion

What does Our Lady of Fatima ask of Us?
- The Daily Rosary
- Wearing of the Brown Scapular
- Sacrifices to save sinners
- Devotion of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the First Saturdays
- Amendment of Life
- Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the Holy Father in union with all the Bishops of the world
Why does Mary, the Mother of God, ask this?
- To make reparation
- Save Souls from hell
- Obtain Peace in the world
The Blessed Mother said, “People must cease offending God, who is already too much offend…Pray, pray much, and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to Hell because there is no one to make sacrifices and to pray for them.”
Share the Message of Fatima
I often hear the phrase, “If you want peace for work justice.” But I think this is incorrect. If you want peace listen and follow what the Blessed Mother is giving her children. Our Lady has outlined a peace plan, but who follows it?

What’s the fuss about the Mass in Latin?

I have been holding off posting this Latin Mass explanation for a few weeks because I wanted to put a larger article together. However, it is a debate I may have to get someone else to write about. The Extraordinary Form of the Mass has become very popular with many Catholic who want to attend a holy Mass.
Cardinal Arinza at Catholic Family Land gives a brief explanation. He cites the importance of every priest celebrating mass in a serious, holy manner. Cardinal Arinza, one of the most prominent Catholic Cardinals, says much in a few words. You almost have to read between the lines.

This ‘old’ video is long at 60 minutes; however, it is a great explanation of the Mass. Especially the Latin mass. Grab a cup of coffee and watch. Before you criticize the Latin, learn a little about it. This beautiful video does a fine job filled with narration.
