Commit yourself to Christ

In my early days of  youth minister I wanted to be the best I could be.  I wanted to have a large group, well attended programs, and youth who always wanted to participate.  Sometimes the numbers were high and other times they were low.  I struggled to see success and many times doubted that anything I did ever worked.

Until someone told me “we do not see the changes in the hearts of those we effect.”  It is not about how much I do, but how much I allow the Lord to work through me.  A youth minister is more than just a sales men for Christ, they are a minister.

Growing a large youth group isn’t as easy as crossing a barren desert.

Since those early days I began compiling tools, techniques, and practices that I found helpful in running effective Catholic youth ministry, parish ministry, and evangelization.

Catholic Tools

Since those days I youth ministry I have traveled across the country helping diocese find new ways to answer the call of The New Evangelization.  This site specifically is for those who desire to be desciples of Christ and proclaim the Good News.
It is specifically geared towards the Catholic Church, but all are welcome to use the techniques and share their own.

There may be some spelling mistakes, but there also are some good ideas.  Most of the pictures are just nice, not always related to the articles.  Many are just ideas for you to expand out and make them your own.  Feel free to use anything on this site to help you in the Ministry of Jesus Christ.

This site is dedicate to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so I hope she guides us.
